Grand Castle Wedding and a Rustic Pub

Hannah, CJ and Co were absolutely going to have a good time at their destination wedding to Ireland. It’s that attitude that makes a couple a dream to work with. It’s also a dream when a couple decide to mix things up from the norm. Kinda like getting married in a grand castle like Waterford Castle and then following it up with a homely meal in a rustic old pub. The best of both worlds isn’t it?

The group, mainly from Florida, lucked out with the Irish weather as the wedding day turned out to be a beautiful crisp March day and fun was certainly in the air. The girls were pampering and the guys were nursing a hangover from a great night before. Luckily, Hannah’s long time friend, Kara from Kiki Creates, was on hand to capture all of the action, fun and love.

Hannah was the picture of pampered when I got there and couldn’t help but laugh out loud at the scene.

A few friends who couldn’t make it to Ireland were there on Facetime to not miss a moment.

The ceremony in the castle kicked off the day followed by drinks and canapes while Hannah and CJ went off with Kara around the island for some beautiful photos.

After a quick dress change for Hannah, the next stop was the pub!

Classic Irish thatched pub, Jack Meade’s was the spot for dinner and dancing into the night. The couple wanted to mix some traditional Irish music and something they could dance to. I kinda think they would have danced to anything.

For the flowers, we needed something that would be elegant enough for the castle and relaxed enough for the pub. Lamber De Bie in Waterford fixed us up with purple, lavender and hunter green flowers to set the tone of the day and sat on the pub tables topped with lace.
